Welcome to our farm!
We're glad that you found us on the web. Please take a look at our sales lists and enjoy learning more about our farm. We welcome your inquiries and questions!
Triple W Alpacas was established in 2011 and is owned and operated by Will and Shannon Deckert. We often talked of owning alpacas "one day" after Will left active duty service in the Army, but that day presented itself earlier than imagined two years ago during a retirement sale. We initially bought and agisted 6 animals, and added 10 more after moving to acreage property at our current location in East Olympia, WA, in rural Thurston County. We experienced our first birthing season in 2012, where we added five cria to our herd, and have since then sought after superior genetics in both males and females and added to our farm.
TWA's focused goal is raising genetically superior huacaya alpacas in a range of colors, while breeding for fineness, density, and temperament as well as qualities intrinsic to both the commercial and cottage alpaca fiber industry. We are enthusiastic to support and develop an active role in this growing segment here in North America.
Will is still an active duty officer in the US Army stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord near Tacoma, WA. While we love the beauty of Western Washington, we will ultimately resettle to our final home - gorgeous acreage we purchased in 2011 outside of Addy, in the pristine forested mountains of Stevens County, North of Spokane in Eastern WA.
Any animal purchased from our farm or breeding from our stud comes with 100% post sale support. We are newer to alpacas but not to livestock and understand clients, especially new owners, need support they can depend on. Be assured we are ready to provide that support to you.
